Benchmarks

Why these rates

Newsletter inventory is priced by audience definition, not audience size. Generalist business lists sit at the bottom of the market; lists filtered by job title sit at the top of the band.

How the rates are set

  • Newsletter inventory is priced by audience definition, not audience size — the title filter drives the premium, not the content.
  • Custom editorial with named executive access is priced at the market flat rate, never blended into a CPM.
  • Persistent lockups are priced against category-exclusive run-of-site placement, not display remnant.
  • Rates are versioned by quarter so a report generated in one quarter reproduces in the next.
  • Social clicks are valued at the category cost-per-click; reactions, comments and reposts are valued at a cost-per-engagement, weighted 1× / 3× / 5× for the earned reach each carries.
  • Engagement value is additive to reach value because a click and an impression are separately purchasable line items — the engagement index itself is reported as context only and adds nothing to the total.
